Childcare & Kindergarten

Here at Ringwood East Private Child Care and Kindergarten we aim to provide a loving, warm, safe, nurturing, educational and stimulating environment.  Where children can learn and grow. Together with families ensure children’s individual needs and rights are recognised and respected. We believe in providing children with a balance of both play bases and structured learning experiences.

Education & Activities
Our Classes

Our small homely centre offers three educational and stimulating indoor areas for children to engage in learning and two outdoor areas for play and exploration. Our Centre also has a Goverment Funded Kindergarten Program for children in the year before school

  • Birth- 2 years old

  • 2- 3 years old

  • 3- 6 years old

Birth - 2 years

During these early years we love to care, nuture and guide our Babies to grow in confidence, physical development and to develop basic self help skills.

Children love to engage in exploration, musical activites, reading books together with educators, painting, sensory play, balancing and coordination building and learning to feed themselves; holding a bottle or using a spoon with meals.

Ages 2 - 3

Children form strong relationships with Educators. During this stage of development children are learning verbal communication skills, gross and fine motor development and self help skills. Toddlers develop these skills through a variety of activities; dress-ups, group story and  music times, flash cards, outdoor play on bikes and sandpit, creative art activities and many more.

Ages 3 - 6

Our Kinder Room provides opportunities for children to continue developing their self-confdence, self-esteem, independence, problem solving skills and social skills through spontaneous or planned experences.

The Government Funded Kindergarten Program enables children to explore letters and numbers through one-on-one sessions with the Kindergarten Teacher completing their own maths and writing book, play-based group learning experiences, and developing a range of skills and understanding to successfully transition into Primary School.
